COMMENTS AT CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE
Asking members; to overlook the fact that he was also a member of the Borough Council., the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr \V. Sullivan, when reference was made; to the forthcoming elections, stated, that thei Borough had been well served ami was in a better position than it had been before. He attributed this state of affairs chiefly to the excellent work of tlvs Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry.
Mr Sullivan briefly and broadly reviewed the position of the Borough and told members that with the exception of Messrs G. Otley and A. Hall the councillors! had intimated their willingness for renomination. He' was; of the opinion that the town had been well served.
This view was apparently the view of the meeting which had no suggestions lo makot when it was asked: if the Chambefr should make any move regarding nominations.
