Play in Saturday's Medal Handicap competition resulted in a win for D. Allan with the excellent score of 82 —15 —67 nett, closely followed by J. Standrin 92—24 —68 nett, C. B. Herrold 83—13—70 nett, A. Moore 89—18 —71 nett and Powdrell 79—7—72 nett. Allan and Standrin have both earned a reduction of 2 in handicap. This standard of play is considered exceptional for so early in the season and this in some measure may be attributed to the) excellent condition of the links whiioh have nevnr been in such splendid order as tliej' are this season.
