Unusual Fish. During the holiday a most unusual lish was discovered at Ohope, this being a sand gurnard, which gains its name from the fact that it can live in the sand Avhen the tide recedes. This .specie was found with its mouth only just visible and on being unearthed was discovered to be very lively and of about eight inches in length. Eat big meals yet see fat go quickly.
