IN-CALF HEIFER FAIR
SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE
PRICES SHOW INCREASE!
j Large entries, and a big attendance of buyers at the annual incalf heifer sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency at Morrinsville tended to make the fixture one of the most successful sales on record. Despite the present outlook for meat andl butter exports, prices realised were in excess of last year's. The top price of the sale was £9 10s, this sum being realised for several pens, the majority of which were good-* quality Jersey heifers. It was noticeable that the heifers right throughotit came forward in better order than has been the case for the last few years, this no doubt being attributable to the abundance of feed.
