LOCAL SWIMMING BATHS

Sir, —Mention of the lack of municipal baths in this progressive borough is made by you in the same issue as that in which you let the BEACON'S spotlight shine on the approaching silver jubileu of the borough. My suggestion is that we could very well buikl swimming baths as a silver jubilee memorial. The opening of the baths could be a highlight of the celebrations next year. Perhaps His Worship (not yet elected or re-elected) could dive in to officially open the baths. I hope so .any way! Yours etc., S. W. IMMER.
