PORT OF WHAKATANE

WHARFAGE FIGURES Wharfages at the port of Whakatane for February of this year, show an increase on that registered in 1940, the figures being £344 10s 2d and £330 17s lid respectively. In 1939 the returns were considerably larger for the same month of the year, being £426 10s Bd. March figures for 1941 showed an increase on February but a decrease on previous years, being £381 12s 7d, as against £400 3s 10 in 1940 and £457 16s 2d in.1939.
