DENTAL CLINIC
Sir,—With reference to the report of the meeting of the Rangitaiki Plains branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, in your issue of the 4th inst in connection with the establishment of a School Dental - Clinic at E'dgecumbe, may I refute the reported statement of Mr Neilscn that it would cost the E'dgecumbe district some £80 to £90 to join the Whakatane clinic. At a meeting of delegates from: country schools held in Whakatane on the 29th May, 1940, to consider the formation of a dental group.. Mr Neilsen was present as a representative of the Edgecumbe School. He was informed that the capital contribution required from his committee was £25 and this figure still stands. l^j^etc., J. W. WILSON, Hon. Sec. Whakatane Dental Clinic Committee.
