HELLYAR CUP With the weather fine and tfe« lawns in perfect order a very enjoyable afternoon was spent at Taneatua last Thursday when Whakatane played a return match for the Hellyar Cup and was successful in retaining it. During the afternoon the visitors were treated to a very delicious afternoon tea. Gaines were as follows, Taneatua players being mentioned first:— Mesdames Mitchell and Marsden lost to Hellyar and Healey; Mesdames Moore and Palmer lost to Loane and Comer; Mesdames Hill and Grace lost to Hunter and Shaw.
