Tiger iVtoth from Wheniiapai Aerodrome at Helensville on Friday LeadingAircraftsman Edwin Chayter Moore, aged 23, who was piloting the plane lost his life. The young man, whose mother is Mrs M. A. Moore, of Mount Eden, Auckland, was well known in Whakatane where he had many friendsT For some months he was employed locally by Messrs G. Dawson and Co., and was prominent in the Bay as a Rugby player, representing both Opotiki and che Bay of Plenty. He joined the Air Force from Whakatane in December of last year.
