PLUNKET SOCIETY

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Whakatane Plunket Society was held on Monday, 24th March. Those present were Mesdames Southey (chair), Shapley,' Cairns, Caisley and Dixon. Apologies were received from Mesdames Barry, Dawson, Eggcrs, Kendall and Boswell. During a general business discussion Mrs Southey stated that the amount netted from the street collection on the 21st inst was £28 15s. Further card evenings to raise funds were discussed, but arrangements, for these however, to be finalised at the next meeting scheduled for the 28th April.
