The wardens were appointed as follows—and advised that they 'could appoint deputies in their districts: Cr R. F. Wardlaw (Waimana and Nukuhou area); Crs A. F. McGougan (chief) and' H. C. McCready (Taneatua;, 'Opouriao and Ruatoki); Cr F. J. Burt (Matata and Manawahe); Cr T. G. H. Cawte (Galatea); Crs D. W. Spence (chief) W. A. McCracken and C T. Smith (Rangitaiki).
