NAZI FURY

VENTED ON VILLAGES BRITISH SPIRIT UNBROKEN Typifying the unbeatable spirit of England is a photograph which has been published in an American news magazine. It shows members of one of the famous English hunts, the Alilenham, riding to lionii'!?, through the ruined cottages of Aldenham village, just north of London. For all the evidence' of Nazi savagry about them, the hunt is unconcerned. Incidentally, the only male rider visible in about 40 riders, apart from the elderly master of the hunt, is a khaki-clad officer, recuperating from Dunkirk experiences. Aldenham, it is explained, is frethe random target of German bombers which over-shoot the capital.
