LYCEUM CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Whakatane Lyceum Club was held in the club rooms on March 20, a large number of members being present. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year .-—President:. Mrs S. B. Spence; vice-«pre-eident: Mrs Whiteside; secretary: Mrs C. F. Thomas; committee : Mrs Farmer, Mrs Cole, Mrs McDonald. Mrs Southey,. Mrs Connolly, Mrs Runciman, Mrs Howell, Mrs Allan. It was decided to open the season with a Flag Bridge evening to be held in the club rooms on Wednesday, April 2. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the outgoing committee.
