TE PUKE v WAIMANA B MORTON CUP The Te Puke tennis club challenged the Waimana B team for the Morton Gup, which they held. After a most enjoyable day's play during the week-end, the challengcvs Avere victorious, winning by 9 matches to 4 and 3 matches were unfinished. Boynton lost to W. Flowers 5-6, 3-0. Ladies' Doubles. Mrs Wardlaw and Mrs Bell lost to Mirs Tanner and Mrs Flowers 2-6. 4-6; Misses Addison and Grover beat Misses Fagan and Spratt G-4, 6-4. Men's Doubles. T. Wardlaw and King lost to Pile and Flowers 4-6, 5-6; Grover and Boynton lost to Lind and Patene 6-3 2-6, 3-6. - Combined Doubles. T. Wardlaw and Mrs .L Wardiaw lost to Pile and Mrs Tanner 2-6, 2-6. The rest of the matches were unfinished.
