FACILITY IX)I; I.JACON CO.

At a special meeting of the Opotiki Borough Council held on Tuesday night the question ol' establishing an abattoir district in I lie Borough of Opotiki was furl her discussed, and all due caution was shown by the council to ensure that no liability should fall on the ratepayers. It was finally decided, after a full discussion on the subject to seek further information from the Minister concerning the council's liability in respect to the matter.
