AMENDING OF REGULATIONS NO INTIMATION TO INSPECTOR • We have been asked, in view of the recent paragraph ed in the Beacon notifying the complete protection of Ohopo * Beach from seine fishing, to, state that the local Inspector of *. Fisheries, Capt. H. Wheelock, j of the Heads, has had no official intimation whatsoever. Further, we arc informed that the owner of the trawler concerned, is also in complete ignorance of'the amendment, and claims that he hasr in his possession a map of the vicinity sent him by the department, which indicates that he has right to fish off Ohope Beach with-* out any restriction at all.
