DISTRICT OFFICERS LIST WHAKATANE# i"WO BATTALIONS The completed list of appointed to 4he Whakatanei Home Guard is now available. Thq splendid response to the call ] for vn!un(. ; has resulted in the creation of two battalions—• No. 1 comprising all that area east of the Whakatane River and No. 2 the western side. Last week-end company and platoon commanders held a daylight parade for instruction in fieldcraft and exercises. The official list oi? officers is as under:—• Commander: L. B. Savage; Coy.
