Mr Wish Winn, who has been visiting Auckland, returned to Whakatane last evening. Mr and Mrs F. W. Lysaght Returned this week after spending a week holidaying in the North Auckland. An employee of the Commercial Hotel, who has taken up a position with the Raftgitaiki Dairy Company Mr D. Vincent, was made the recipient of a presentation from his employers and fellow employees on Wednesday evening. Mr N. Bremner, proprietor of the Commercial, handed Mr Vincent a handsome gift and wished him every success in the future.
