In it. the production-gen-ius of Joe Pasternak at its brightest, the superlative talents of Deanna Durbin, the brilliant direction of Henry Roster, tlie sparkling pens of Bruce Manning ad Felix "Jackson, and the beautiful music combine to produce a lilting rhapsody of spring in the heiart, so utterly gay and joyous that its infectious spirit cannot but' lift everyone who sees and hears it. This picture is a grand gift to the world of to-day—an hour and a half of undiluted pleasure which leaves one with a lingering sense of the joy it has given. Easily one of the best films ever to come from the Universal lot, it has all the earmarks of being,, one of the- great successes of the year. Deanna Durbin soars to heights hitherto unreached on the career. Her gorgeous voice grows better with her every appearance on tha screen. But aside from that, she is becoming an exceptional actress who displays a flair for comedy which is brilliant. She also proves herself. a graceful dancer of real ability.
