NEW HALL WANTED
SHORTAGE of accommodation suitable for social purposes has compelled the Caledonian Society to commence looking round for a suitable section upon which.to erect for its members a hall at a later date. The Society, progressive in the past, has once more set the example and if its objective is reached, will be deserving of the appreciation of the town as a whole. If there is something Whakatane lacks, it is an intermediate hall, properly equipped for letting, for the minor social purposes. We wish the Society all success in its venture.
