GARDEN PARTY
SUCCESSFUL EVENT
Favoured with beautiful weather, the Methodist ladies held their annual Garden Party last Thursday afternoon. Held in the lovely garden residence of thq Misses Ramson, the afternoon was a success in every way. Several competitive games were eagerly contested,, and the Bring and Buy stall did excellent business. Altogether, there was a good attendance and the party was thoroughly enjoyed by all present.
Those in charge of the various competitions, etc., were: —Treasure Hunt: Misses Ramso-n; Bell Croquet: Mrs K. Stewart; Crazy Croquets Mrs T. J-. Heliyar; Clock Golf: Mrs A. Abliston; Target Croquet: Mrs F. Comer; Peg Throwing: Mirs F. Darvill; Typo: Mrs Norman; Cork Competition: Rev C. P. Lucas; Bring ancl Buy Stall: Mesdames R.,Hanham and A. Haultain; Afternoon Tea: Mesdames A. J. Canning and S. Print; Gatekeeper: Mrs G. Lucas.
