WIN FOR P. AND T. The first fixtures played since the holidays took place on Sunday with the result that P. and T, comfortably accounted for Taneatua while Central registered a win over Paroa.
P. AND T.'s WIN Batting first Taneatua commcnced badly the first wicket falling to Rigden when only ten were on the board and the side failed to make a stand, being all out for 71. P. and T. replied with 106 for live wickets declared Chard batting strongly for 48 before lifting one from Butler. In their second knock the visitors fared even worse in the face of the attack of Rigden and Chard and the innings closed with the total only 24 ahead of P. and T.
