Miss J. Brownlee, of T'e Puke, has taken up duty at the A'wakeri school.
Friends of Mr H. G. Rand will be pleased to learn that his health has shown improvement following his undergoing a slight operation at the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, and that he hopes -to be able to return to his home shortly.
