PERSONAL
The Public Service Commissioner, Mr Mark, of Wellington, will be a visitor to Whakatane to-day. Mr Robertson, Inspector for the Public Service Commission, paid a flying visit to Whakatane yesterday. Mrs Wish Winn and Master Peter Winn are visiting Raglan where they are the guests of Mr and Mrs 1 K. Andrews, Mrs A. E. Davies,, of Thornton, and formerly of Edgecumbe,, is leaving the district this week with the members of her family to make their home- in Auckland. Mrs Davies* three eldest sons lan, Horace and John Sanders are serving with the N.Z. Forces in the Middle East, and another son is at Trentham military camp. Her many friends in the Whakatane district will wish her happiness in her new home during- the time that passes before her soldier sons return from overseas.
