SPORTS MEETING RAISES £100

PATRIOTIC ALLOCATION MKT

Few pakehas will realise that the Maori Shorts gathering and Gala Day run at Ruatoki on Boxing Day realised the sum of £98 towards the district's allocation for the Patriotic funds. The committee responsible for the sports desires to tender their grateful thanks to the people of Taneatua, Opouriao and surrounding districts for their splendid support, which contributed very materially to the great success of the sports.
