Bell and Tippett (4) 3 wins; Berg and Baxter (5) 0 wins; Cole and Shaw (6) 3 wins; Burnett and Comer (G) 1 win; Butler and Chambers (7) 1 win.. In the play off Berg and Baxticfr beat Creeke and Sloane to win the section.' 1 | Section B-: Smith and Burgess (scr) 1 win; Salmon and Loane (scr) 6 wins; Dixon and Lux ton (5) 2 wins; Henderson and Turpin (5) 0 wins; Biigelow and Hayward (5) 4% wins; Bullard and Hollis (6) 5 wins; Shapley and E. J. Bell (7) 2V 2 wins; Oswald and McLeod (7) 4% wins. Friendly Games The folloAving were the results of some friendly matches played on the Whakatane greens:— Rand, Cole, Tippett and Loane 26 beat Johnson, Menzies, Wallace and Shaw 14. Berg", Gardiner, Bell and Hollis 30. beat Nicholson, Comer, Turpin and Frances 10.. Savage Smith, Hcaley and Luxton 27, beat Drube, Bell, White and Burgess 10. Shapley, Bullard and Marsh 20. beat McMillan, Beck and Norris 18.
