FAIRLY DRY MONTH Mr H. Muscutt, of Kopeopeo, reports that the rainfall for the month of December was 2.90 inches as rxgain.st 4.76 inches for December 193? The driest December occurred in 1931 when only .90 inches was recorded and the wettest in 1936 when no less than 9.00 inches Avas measured. The total for the past twelve months was 45.05 against 37.72 for the preceding year. The driest twelve months was the latter figure while the wettest occur red in 1924 with 78.71 inches
