Torrie, Foster and Mead 12, v J. Bell, White, Hayward and Mclsaac 18; Black, Richardson, Marsden and Hunt 24, v Berg, Canning, Marsh and McLeod 21. The Feathers game resulted in a draw, . Bradshaw, Tcbbutt, McGougan and McKenzie 19, v Murphy McMillan, Butler and D. Butler, 19. Continuing the club's competitions the se'mi-final of the handicap single saw a great game between Tippett, (4) and Burgess (scr.). An extra head was necessary, Tippett winning 22-21. The final, another splendid game, saw Tippett (4) defeated by Oswald (9), 20-26. Oswald played excellent bowls, going; right through the series Avithoi.it a loss. This is a remarkable effort for a first-year player. Other games played were; Donaldson, Henderson, Littlejohn and Shaw 24, beat White, Otley, King and Mclsaac 20; Wilson, Smith: BigeloAV and Marsh 16, beat Rand, Baxter, Bullard and Chamberlain 12; Murphy, Pearson, Francis and Turpin 36, beat Oswald, Hollis, Creeke and Comer 14. j
