PERFECT DISH-WASHER
The thanks of thousands of husbands would go to the man who pro duced a really efficient dish-wash-ing machine, one that wotild takedirty dishes at one end and turn them out at the other thorouhgly cleaned and dried, said a speaker fit a social the New Zealand Institute and Power Engineers in Wellington. Tlk; thought had occurred, he said amid laughter, while he was washing - dishes for his wife that night. There was more laughter when the following speaker invited those present to look at "the perfect dishwasher."' He had been at it for 4$ years, lie said. Tn his opinion, the human dish-washer was infinitely better than the mechanical one, be-> cause it was a simple matter to dispose surreptitiously of a broken cup" or plate "without the Avife knowing: anything about it." No matter how good the machine was, no machine coukl do that.
