Because Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week, Dec-i ember 25th> 26tli and 27th, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the succeeding- week, January Ist, 2nd and 3rdi, are announced as public holidays l , and owing to awards governing working conditions, there will be no publication of a the BEIACON on the dates affected. Ad<vertisers are asked to. note that Monday, December 23rd 1 , and Monday* December 30th are the publication dates until the usual routine is resumed on January 6th.
