ANOTHER SCHOLAR

MR N. W. WARNER Advice has been received by his mother, Mrs J. H. B. Warner, of Whakatane, that Mr Nelson Whittington Warner has been successful in gaining his B,A. degree. Mr Warner, who is in the Lands and Survey Department, Auckland, was educated at the Whakatane District High School and matriculated in 1933. Although he has commenced reading lor his M.A.> it is likely that his studies will be interrupted as he enlisted for service with the Air Force in May and is expecting to be called up for training. . It is worthy of note that Mr Warner, who is 24 years of age, and Mr Alan Stewart, Rhodes Scholar, matriculated together.
