J. Burt, they taught the Maoris the game and a series of matches arranged on the arrival of the famous Warbrick brothers laid the foundations of the game in the Matata and surrounding districts. , '
Mr Hataraka Hone died last year and an obituary notice elscAvhere in this issue records the death of Mr Haimona Heretaunga. Mr Hemana Te Pokiha liA*es at Makelu.
