CULMINATION
WHAKATANE METHODISTS' EFFORTS NEW BUILDING COMPLETED The official opening of the new Sunday School building, to take place to-morrow evening, will mark the culmination of months of efforts by the Methodists of Whaka-< tane to provide long-desired and much-needed accommodation for juvenile religious instruction. . For some months parishioners have voluntarily given of their time and labour to the construction of the building, and. primarily and continuously, to the raising of the necessary funds, the essence being a community, effort for the community. To-morrow's opening function will constitute an outstanding event in Wiiakatane Methodist history. A social afternoon will be held tomorrow and a well-rehearsed concert programme is scheduled for presentation in the evening, commencing at 7.45 p.m. During the early part of the programme the! official opening will take place. This ceremony and the dedication of the building will be performed by the Rev. R. B. Tinsley (Chairman of the District), of Hamilton.
