DANCE ABANDONED
TANEATDA HOSPITAL BENEFIT
Owing to the impossibility of find ing a suitable date on which to hold the annual Hospital Benefit Dance at Taneatua the ladies committee which lias been responsible in the past for this very laudable objective, has decided to abandon the idea of a dance and concentrate upon local competitions etc. The idea of providing the patients at the hospital with a little Christmas cheer has been a self-imposed duty shouldered by a number of Taneatua residents for many years past. They are to be Avarmly congratulated on their line Christmas spirit, and it therefore behoves all who can assist them to do so in the present instance, by supporting the raffles etc. which will be run in order to raise funds.
