EFFECT OF CARNIVAL ON BUSINESS At the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce on Thursday night, wlien discussion centred on the proposed New Year's Eve Carnival,, it was stated by a member of the Cham ber that the shopkeepers -would not benefit by the carnival..
