MONTHLY MEEtING The monthly meeting ol' the Plunket Socictv was held on Monday evening. Those present were: Mesdames Southey (chair), Dixon, C'aisley, Cairns, Kendall and Shapley. Apologies were received from Mes"ames Dawson., Boswcll, Eggers ami Kingsley-Smith. discussed included the continuation of the weekly "500" evenings, which will be held every Tuesday in the Parish Hall at S '■>.m. It was decided, however, to make the next evening, scheduled 'or 10th December, the final for this year, and to recommenco early in :, e New Year.
