PAROA v TANEATUA This match was played in the Domain, Paroa claiming a win on the first innings. Batting iirst the victors compiled 127. A good part--nership for the fourth wicket between Cleland (31) and Coutts (31) added 53 runs. McGougan (33) also batted very well. Taneatua replied with only 28 in its lirst innings, and although the second innings was hardly better, the team managed to avoid an innings defeat, 8 wickets falling for 31 runs when time was called.
