THE APPEAL
DISTRICT'S FINE RESPONSE OBJECTIVE IN SIGHT So generous has been, the response from the various, districts comprising the Whakatane County and Borough Inter-Zone patriotic area to the present appeal for funds for all purposes that the £3000 mark has been passed. The allocation for the area was £3750 and as the appeal will 1 continue for some months yet, the attainment of the objective is assured.
