WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

MATATA'S MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Matata Women's Institute was held in the Presbyterian Hall Wednesday, November 27. Mrs Caverhill presided over a fair attendance^ As the November meeting takes the form of "International Day" the roll call brought forth treasures from all over the world. Mrs H. D. Wilson gave an interesting talk on "Paris as I saiv it in 1924." ; Competitions resulted: Nemesias, Mrs H. Withy 1. Best Flower in my Garden, Mrs H. Withy 1, Mrs Schick 2, Miss Burt 3. ' Afternoon tea, was served by Mrs Schick and Mrs McCracken. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the hostesses. This concluded the meeting. , ■ . "
