LARGE FIELD IN ALISON CUP PROBABLE DIVISION RACE The Auckland Racing Club will stage the first day of its Mid-Spring Meeting at Ellerslie to-morrow. The chief event, the Alison Cup Handicap, has attracted a field of 28 and should scratchings not reduce the field to the safety number, which is 23 at the I*4 mile barrier, the event Avill have to be divided.
