OBITUARY

MRS LOUISA REASON The death occurred in Dunedin on Wednesday of Mrs Louisa Reason, at the age of 102. Mrs Reason was born in Faringdon, Berkshire, England, on Christmas Day, 1837, and arrived in Ne\y Zealand with, her husband in 1873, voyaging in the Lutterworth. For more than 50 years Mrs Reason lived in a little sod cottage at Shag Point, near Dunedin, leaving . that place about three years ago when the cottage was demolished by the Public Works Department to make "way for a new road. With the aid of glasses Mrs Reason was able to read a little each day and until her death she took an intelligent interest in everyday affairs and although frail enjoyed remarkably good health A grandson is Mr W. Rixon, of Hawera Street, Whakatane.
