SATURDAY'S GAMES • SOME KEEN CONTESTS Games played on the Whakatane greens last Saturday included the first contestants for the Junior Challenge Stars. Several other enjoyable rink games were played details being as under: Cole, White, Comer, Marsh 20, boat Oswald, Bigelow, Shaw, Chambers IC. Dixon, Creek, Hollis, Mclsaac 20, lost to Shaplcy, Re id, McLeod, Brittan 29. / Burnett, King, Bell, Burgess 17,= lost to Johnson, Smith, Bunter, Brit tan 20. Murphy Nicholson, Tippett, Howat 23, drew with Butler, Pearson, Turpin, Canning 23.
