YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB

TE PUKE BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Te Puke Young Farmers' Club was held reecntly when a most interesting lecture on "Pig Raising in Denmark," was given Mr J- R. Re enburg, and details were given of the housing, feeding, marketing and exporting of Danish pigs. Mi* Reenburg asked for questions, dealing not only with Denmark but also with our own pig industry. Members responded to his request and a very lively discussion followed. Members expressed regret at the resignation of Mr W. Pryor who has 'left the district. The chairman welcomed Mr V. P. Bar ugh and Mr A.. Mossop as new members and also Mr L. Ashe who was transferred from the Paengaroa Club. The chairman also thanked, Mr Reenburg for his most interesting talk, and the meeting then adjourned for supper. ■ .
