OLDER MAN CHARGED In connection with one of the above escapades, a young married man; Rholda Lang, Avas also charged with the theft of benzine from a car stationed at the rear of the Edge curnbe Hotel on the night of October 1. . Pleading guilty, defendant said he merely went with the others, and did not go on to the dance at Te Teko as they Jiad. He regretted his action which he now regarded as extremely foolish. The bench observed that defendant was much older than the other ■offenders and should have known better, he would be convicted and fined £5 and costs.
