WEDDING BELLS
HEATLEY -ANSFORD A jquiet took; place in the Ivnox Church on Wednesday last, wheat Miss Beatrice Margaret Ansford of Whakatane, was married to Mr H. "■* . L. Heatl'ey, of the Beacon literary stall. The Rev. H. Hogg performed V' the ceremony. The bride who was given away by Mr Gordon Kent,, wore a grey- pin stripe costume with accessories to tone, and a charming shoulder sprav of pale pink tea roses and orange blossom. She was attended by Miss Gwen Kent, who wore a smart black and white ensemble with black toqua r matching accessories and simi-; lar shoulder spray. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr N. Corcoran. The reception was held in the lounge of the Whakatane Hotel ' which was dainty decorated with white carnations and orange bios* som for the occasion. Mrs A. Hayter j in a smart black frock with orien- : .-h . Mi.:, lal embroidery, acted as hostess 'asisted by Miss Webber. The Rev. [ogg acted as toastmaster. Mr and Mrs Healley left later by Car on an extended tour, and orev t|ieir return will make their future in Whakatane. :i ' ' .'' rt l M
