Whether this takes place or not, the public will have, every -sympathy for those enthusiasts who endeavoured to mark the day in a manner fully worthy of it, as a means of raising* funds for Patriotic purposes.

Crowds in Town. Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning saw large crowds in the Strand and for the most part every available car parking space was occupied. Shopkeepers report good business.
