HAWAIIAN COMPANY
TO APPEAR IN WHAKATANE NEXT FRIDAY EVENING TALENTED ENTERTAINERS Having recently concluded a very successful season at His Majesty's Theatre, Auckland, a talented company of entertainers from Hawaii, will appear at the Grand Theatre, Whakatane, next Friday evening. An outstanding artist with the company is Momi Kaaimoku, described as Honolulu's most beautiful hula dancer of to-day., This young lady is said to excel in exhibitions of the hula and other native dances, her actions being most graceful and full of charm. Miss Kaaimoku is also the possessor of a pleasing soprano voice and, with other members of the company, will be heard in a series of vocal selections. Also worthy of mention are the Alohalami Hawai- [ ians and Aliilo Lincoln, a silver i tenor and expert guitarist. Dan Kacka and Johnson Aila are two more prominent members of the combination, who, in addition to individual contributions, appear in a TUimber of sketches. The programme is Veil varied, and includes many items of a novel character. The plan is lat Armstrong's.
