THE HOME GUARD
R.S.A. RESOLUTION APPEAL TO MEMBERS At the .monthly meeting of the. executive of the Whakatane Returned Soldiers' Association, matters pertaining to the Home Guard came up. for discussion. It was the unanimous view of the executive ; that fuil support should be given v the movement, and in this connection the following resolution was passed: "That this Association, recognising that the formation of the. Home Guard! is essential, pledges its full support to the local authorities and calls upon all ifoembers who are fit and able io enrol and by so doing, assist to make the movement a success."
