BACONERS UP TO £4 8/The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. report having held their fortnightly sale at the above yards on Monday, where they offered a good yarding of pigs to a large bench of buyers. Competition was brisk throughout and all pigs sold under keen competition. Wa quote-:— Heavy baconers £4 6s to £4 8s; medium baconers £3 18s to £4 2s; light baconers £3 8s to £3 15s; heavy porkers £2 12s to £3; large stores £2 18s to £3 3s; slips £1 18s to £2 6s; weaners 14s to 295; choppers to £4 2s. The next sale will be held on Monday, November 4.
