PATRIOTIC AFFAIRS
WAINUI MAORIS FORM COMMITTEE The Maoris cf the Wainui district have formed a patriotic committee, with Mr J. Rimaha as chairman and Mr John Collier as honorary secretary. Mr Robert Biddle, Snr., was appointed as the committee's delegate. A social held after the formation of the committee was a great success, the proceeds forming the core of the collecting activities. Supper was provided by the ladies of the committee and it was decided to hold another dance and social on Saturday night.
